Lovely sculpted resin shoes by Alexander McQueen, for the fairy queen in every one of us.
From Fashionising:

The fashion house of Alexander McQueen illustrates just how design brilliance doesn’t end at the ankles, but goes all the way till the bottom of the feet.
These intricately designed wedges, part of the McQueen spring 2011 collection, are a classic embodiment of artistic surrealism. The crisp, but gentle flower petals curve around the edges of the leather platform creating a perfect balance between design and wearability. Almost exhibiting a Grecian bride look, this creation by Sarah Burton is a true amalgamation of fashion and art.

Dear Judy,
Wearing the kick-assest shoes in the history of cinema shouldn’t inspire quiet contemplation. You should be doing a happy dance!

Stephanie

Every girl wants her Cinderella moment, and this season, it’s Kate Spade that delivers!

Kate Spade is one of those labels   that is  rarely on this Snob’s radar. Well edited with a certain look I’ve been comfortable observing from a far.  However,  these sandals just made me look a little closer,  as they are pretty much a party for your feet. Irresistible. The “Charm Glitter” sandals available here.

Possible blasphemy alert: I’ve been kind of over Louboutins as of late.  The red sole is pretty, the silhouettes are sleek, but the imagination’s been lacking.
Thankfully, though, I’m eating my words after seeing these puppies, voted the sexiest shoe of the year by Footwear News.  Just gorgeous!

Slippers1835-1845
In the first three decades of the 19th century, evening slippers were often worn in both bright and pastel colors. As tastes changed and skirts lengthened to obscure the feet, less attention fell on footwear and black and white satin slippers became predominant. The grass green of this pair of shoes was one of the few bright colors which persisted for evening wear into the 1840s, albeit a distant third behind white and black judging from surviving examples and accounts. Although this basic form remained the standard evening slipper for over fifty years, one can see the distinctive wide square toe commonly worn around 1840 in this example.

Because I can’t justify $490 Lanvin silk slippers, I’ll settle for these.
