Perhaps a bit literal, but this Pre-Fall 2013 night sky dress by Carolina Herrera is very pretty.

Gorgeous photography by Jan Saudek.
From Trendland:
In 1977 he started hand tinting black and white prints, many portraits of painterly dream worlds inhabited by nudes/semi nude figures, and his signature style began to evolve; reminiscent of nineteenth century artists such as Balthud and Faucon. Saudeck has been Honored as a’Chevalier des Arts et Lettres’. The French director, Jerome de Missolz, also made a short film about him: “Jan Saudek – Photograph tchéque”. Some of the works of Jan Saudek have entered popular culture in the West, being used as covers for groups: Anorexia Nervosa (New Obscurantis Order), Soul Asylum (Grave Dancers Union), Daniel Lanois (For the Beauty of Wynona), and Beautiful South (Welcome to the Beautiful South).

What does it mean?
This colorized NASA image shows changes in the composition of the Moon’s surface.
Bright pinkish areas are highlands materials, such as those surrounding the oval lava-filled Crisium impact basin toward the bottom of the picture. Blue to orange shades indicate volcanic lava flows. To the left of Crisium, the dark blue Mare Tranquillitatis is richer in titanium than the green and orange maria above it. Thin mineral-rich soils associated with relatively recent impacts are represented by light blue colors; the youngest craters have prominent blue rays extending from them.

Beauty in one of Miller Brewery’s gorgeous murals.
‘The murals provide the illusion of being able to travel from the modern brewing world back to the past. They illustrate our company history in the spirit of our Founder’s 1855 commitment to “Quality Uncompromising.’

I think everyone needs their own private moon.
“Private Moon” is a visual poem, telling a story about a man who found the Moon and stayed with her for the rest of his life. By Russian artists Leonid Tishkov.

Astrophotographer Laurent Laveder has a new book titled Quartier libre. It’s a collection of 19 moon pictures with accompanying calligrams, each written by different authors. As Leveder states, it’s a “small book dedicated to our Moon.” See some of his creative moon photos at My Modern Metropolis.
