The second I saw this gown I thought of Zuhair Murad.  Murad dressed Miley Cyrus in a similarly styled gown for the 2009 Oscars.  While Murad’s take on the Junon gown translates well to the red carpet, I have to say I prefer the original.  The proportions are just a tad better realized, and the beading is so much more opulent.
Plus I prefer originality, and simply re-making a vintage gown isn’t enough!
